Apparently I’m not a huge sufficient of a skill in this market to rate people wanting my viewpoint on DC home entertainment announcing their executive team. That’s truly okay, since I’m not sure I understand exactly how I feel about it yet anyways. There is some other great DC news, though.
At new York toy fair last week Mattel revealed they’re doing Masters of the world classics (MOTUC) versus DC world classics (DCUC) 2-packs, as well as unlike the MOTUC figures, they won’t be Matty Collector exclusives. They’ll be on Toys’R’Us shelves!
DC Comics provides #47
What’s even better? They include comic book reprints of the DC comics! The set of He-Man versus Superman includes DC Comics provides #47, as well as Skeletor versus Lex Luthor includes the preview that led into the 3 problems series drawn by the incomparable George Tuska! (Bikini Teela; aw yeah!) Sadly, their saturation date is April, so I won’t be able to protect the tricks of Castle Grayskull as well soon.
In happier news, we have back problems of the excellent Robert (that walking Dead, Invincible, Haunt, battle Pope, Capes, Brit, Astounding Wolf-Man writer) Kirkman-penned icons of Evil comics! These four problems are excellent versions of origins for a few of the biggest Evil Warriors ever: Beast guy (with art by Tony Moore!), Mer-Man, Trap Jaw, as well as Tri-Klops!
Icons of Evil: Tri-Klops
I practically failed to remember to mention in all of my babbling why I’m so gung-ho on Masters of the Universe. They were the very first comics I owned. numerous people may understand mark Texeira from his unique run on Ghost Rider, however I understand him from his excellent renderings of Man-E-Faces, Trap Jaw, Teela, as well as last however not least, pre-Filmation Sorceress! Throughout the runs of mini-comics, I likewise got to see the excellent work of Alfredo Alcala, checked out some fun Steven grant stories, see some unique Stan Sakai lettering, as well as even see some inks by a young Bruce Timm, years before he dealt with a bit animation understood as Batman: the Animated Series! He was working at Filmation, too!
Thanks to Masters of the Universe, I got into comics. I wouldn’t modification that for whatever in the world; great journey.
